HNGRY connects three groups: Christians with resources who want to see the Kingdom grow, Christians with relationships ready to host, and the HNGRY — people searching for something more, even if they don't yet know Jesus is what will satisfy. When those three come together, disciples make disciples.

Why a meal?
"Want to try my church?" asks someone to walk into a building full of strangers. That is a high bar for a first yes. "A few of us are grabbing breakfast Thursday, I'm buying, we're reading John 1 and talking it through" is a much smaller step, and it is completely honest about the purpose.
Meals show up all through Jesus' ministry, with tax collectors, fishermen, Pharisees, and friends. Food doesn't change hearts. God does. A meal simply creates space for relationship, conversation, Scripture, and prayer.
A single breakfast isn't a big expense. Do it every week with a few people and it becomes a real recurring cost, and that cost is often what quietly ends a study. Hosts bring the relationships. Christians who support HNGRY bring the resources.
The meal is a tool, not the mission. Every reimbursement is tied to intentional time in Scripture with real people.

Or a host can choose to donate the reimbursement back to HNGRY, effectively making a tax deductible donation — and that gift funds someone else's table.
All of it is visible
HNGRY is not a report that arrives at the end of the year. Every study, the Scripture studied, the shared-meal receipt, and the people at the table are posted as it happens.

God is all powerful and should be feared, however, he is also loving and tells us “do not fear.” Big takeaway for me is to run His play. God can even use your failures to be the very launching pad for him to bring victory in your life.
