Starting a Bible study is simpler than you think

HNGRY helps turn "I've thought about it" into a real Bible study with people already in your life.

    Create your account

    Tell us a little about yourself and that you're interested in starting a Bible study.

  2. Step 02

    Become a HNGRY host

    Hosts lead Scripture and may submit Bible studies for reimbursements funded by donors. Because of that, we personally approve them through a simple readiness process. It's short, and we walk you through it.

  3. Step 03

    Invite a few people

    Think about the people already in your life. Pick a breakfast, coffee, or lunch that works and get the first meeting scheduled. HNGRY can help you think through who to invite and how to get started.

  4. Step 04

    Open God's Word

    Read the passage before you meet. Then read, talk honestly, pray together, and decide when you'll meet again.

  5. Step 05

    Keep going

    Consistency is where discipleship grows. Approved hosts can submit eligible meal receipts for reimbursement, and HNGRY helps you keep moving forward as a host.

How meal reimbursement works

  • Approved hosts submit an itemized receipt after a study.
  • Eligible meals are reimbursed up to $15 per person.
  • Guests confirm they were there, and a real person reviews every request.
  • Many hosts give their reimbursement back so it funds another study.

The meal isn't the reason to start. It's one way we remove friction so you can keep meeting. Why meals?
